Just a girl trying to capture the heart of Christ in her lens
Photography has interested me since my mom lent me our family´s point and shoot on a trip to Mexico as an 8-year-old. Those photos in retrospect were at all different angles, quite blurry, and I am amazed she did not delete them all the moment we came back. But from there on out i was hooked. Over the years, my journey with photography was tumultuous, with the common phrase being ¨I wouldnt want to be a photographer because then it would take away the fun of it all.¨ What i realize now, is that what delighted me about photography was the ability to capture a moment specifically in the life of another encountering beauty. As I became a student on the catholic campus of Franciscan University, i was able to experience photographing the sacraments and fell in love.
Over the last several years, as my experience in Church photography has grown, I have been blessed to travel to four continents and 10+ countries documenting the souls that construct this beautiful catholic faith earthside.
